Skopje/Brussels, 22 December 2025, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) today said it has interrupted disbursement of funds for North Macedonia’s agriculture sector, amid a bribe case related to the agriculture EU IPARD III fund for country’s farmers.
“In the present circumstances, as a standard preventive measure to protect the budget of the European Union, the Commission has decided to interrupt the payment deadline for the declaration of expenditure for the third quarter of 2025 under the IPARD III programme,” an EC spokesperson told dtt-net.com.
