Brussels/Skopje, 06 May 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) is being silent on new inter-ethnic disputes and tensions which have erupted in the candidate country related mainly to the limited use of Albanian language, which is the core of the EU/USA-brokered 2001 peace agreement which halted the armed conflict between Albanian guerilla and Macedonian state forces.
Members of an opposition party of Albanians have raised the new disputes with officials of the EU Commission earlier this week.
