Brussels/Sarajevo, 07 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The European Union today condemned assassination threats to the German envoy Christian Schmidt made yesterday by an advisor of the sentenced pro-Russia leader of Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
“The EU condemns any attempt to intimidate officials,” a EU spokesperson told dtt-net.com, after threats made by ,” Dodik’s advisor Ognjen Tadić said through X.
Tadić repeated his assassination threat to Schmidt in an interview to Newsmax Balkans TV as well, following 1-year imprisonment and 6-year ban on Dodik holding current post verdict by BiH Court on charges of challenging decisions of Schmidt of 2023.
