Brussels, 16 September 2026, dtt-net.com – Representatives of 27 EU member countries have started internal talks since earlier this month on 4 chapters proposed by the Irish Presidency of the bloc, but two weeks later there is no consensus on none of them, and certainly not to be expected on the earlier one vetoed by Croatia, the chapter 14 on Transport Policy.
Sources told dtt-net.com that another meeting will take place on Friday (18 September) to know more what will happen with other three too, Chapter 12 (Food Safety, Veterinary and phytosanitary policy; Chapter 18 (Statistics) and Chapter 19 (Social policy and employment).
