Prishtina, 28 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Officials of European Union and its member states have stopped meeting caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his ministers at government buildings since earlier this month until a new government is elected, local media reported.
In a letter leaked to the Klan Kosova TV, the head of the EU office in Prishtina, Aivo Orav, has informed Kurti on August 8 of the decision, which he says is because of the ruling of the Supreme Court of Kosovo which found that the caretaker minister of finance Hekuran Murati signed an administrative directive in breach of the law and the Constitution, as the same person was elected member of new Parliament in February elections.
