Brussels/Paris, 05 March 2025, dtt-net.com – After rejecting Kosovo’s request for membership in the Council of Europe (CoE) organization last year for political reasons related to Serbia and Kosovan Serbs, lawmakers from European countries today refused to treat a new request made by Kosovo for a ‘special status’ in the Strasbourg-based organization by taking it off from today’s agenda of the Political and Democracy Committee of CoE’s Parliamentary Assembly through a majority vote at the meeting held in Paris.
