Strasbourg, 22 October 2025, dtt-net.com – Imprisoned journalists in Belarus and Georgia, Andrzej Poczobut and Mzia Amaglobeli, are awarded today the European Parliament’s (EP) 2025 Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.
The two journalists are the winners of the prize after a decision taken by EP’s President Roberta Metsola and the leaders of the political groups, from the shortlist of three nominees which included Serbia students, and Journalists and Humanitarian Aid Workers in Palestine.
