Former Kosovo President to run in early elections jointly with the party she quit 5 years ago

Prishtina, 05 May 2026, dtt-net.com – The former Kosovo President, Vjosa Osmani, will run in June 7 early parliamentary elections together with the opposition party she quit five years ago, when she decided to side with the Prime Minister Albin Kurti which led her to the top post but failed to get support from him for a second term. The announcement was made today by the leader of the Democratic League (LDK) Lumir Abdixhiku, following party’s presidency.
