Athens/Brussels, 21 February 2024, dtt-net.com – Greek Defence Minister Nikos Dendias today reiterated Athens condition to Albania’s EU membership process, saying that Tirana needs to “respect the European acquis” if it wants to join the European bloc, as Greece continues to block Albania in opening first cluster of negotiating chapters in accession negotiations because of the detention of a Greek minority politician charged by Albanian prosecution of vote buying.
