Kosovo President calls EU to end “unjust” sanctions

Prishtina, 15 October 2025, dtt-net.com – The President of Kosovo today in a meeting with President of the European Commission (EC) called once again the EU to lift punitive measures that the European bloc imposed on Kosovo two years ago.

“Together, we discussed the implementation of the Growth Plan, the urgent need to lift the unjust measures imposed on our citizens, and the next steps on our path toward EU membership,” Vjosa Osmani said through X after meeting with EC President Ursula von der Leyen, over sanctions of June 2023.
