Prishtina, 13 June 2025, dtt-net.com – Kosovo prosecution office said it indicted today a Serbia-backed Serb member of the Kosovan Parliament on suspicion of ordering violent rioters to attack journalists in June 2023 during high tensions in Serb-predominantly northern municipality of Leposavic.
“The Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica informs the public that it has filed an indictment against the person with the initials S.S., a member of the Assembly of Kosovo, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense ‘Participation in a crowd committing a criminal offense and hooliganism’, under Article 404 paragraph 2 in connection with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo,” the prosecution of Mitrovica town announced.
