Kosovo Serb party disapproves government plans for integration of Serbia-run parallel education and healthcare system into Kosovan one

Prishtina, 12 February 2026, dtt-net.com – The main Serbia-controlled Serb party in Kosovo and its representatives from ten Serb-predominantly municipalities today expressed their disapproval of plans by Kosovan government to integrate Belgrade-run parallel healthcare and education system in Kosovo into Kosovan system, and called for the dispute to be part of EU-mediated negotiations in Brussels between Prishtina and Belgrade authorities. They said that the new dispute should be solved through formation of autonomous body which is the centre of the unimplemented 2023 deal reached between Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
