Prishtina, 09 March 2026, dtt-net.com – The Constitutional Court of Kosovo today decided to suspend until March 31 the decision of outgoing President Vjosa Osmani to dissolve Parliament last week, after a complaint made by the head of government Albin Kurti who considers that Osmani breached the Constitution by rushing to dissolve the legislative body.
The court decided to “assign ex officio and at the request of the applicant the interim measure prohibiting any action of the President of the Republic of Kosovo in relation to Decree No. 24/2026 of 6 March 2026, as well as prohibiting any action of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo,” until March 31.
