Prishtina, 05 September 2025, dtt-net.com – The Constitutional Court of Kosovo today ordered the Parliament of Kosovo to suspend until September 30 planned procedures for election of new government following February elections, until it brings a final decision on the complaint filed by main Serb party for not electing deputy-Speaker of the legislative body from Serb minority.
The top court will by that date make its final judgment on the complaint of the Serbia-backed party, which accuses the new Speaker of Parliament Dimal Basha of not respecting parliament’s practices while voting on deputy-Speakers from minorities, which in this case was done in two separate voting and not in a single voting package as usual.
