Kosovo’s acting President decrees resignations of Serb prosecutors, EU disagrees

Prishtina/Brussels, 21 July 2026, dtt-net.com – The Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, today signed decrees for the release from duty of seven Kosovan Serbs prosecutors, following yesterday’s decision of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council to reject withdrawal of their resignations of 2022. “The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, following the decision of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council to release from duty seven prosecutors from the Serbian community, who had resigned in 2022, has signed decrees releasing them from duty,” her office announced today.
