Tirana, 23 January 2024, dtt-net.com – The former Albania’s prime minister and leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha, was questioned today by the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), in an investigation launched by the body over alleged ‘passive corruption’ and abuse of office during his 2005-2009 mandate, which he continues to deny and accuses the Prime Minister Edi Rama of being behind ‘political’ charges aimed at weakening the opposition.
