Munich/Brussels, 16 February 2025, dtt-net.com – Montenegro and Albania could conclude EU membership negotiations in 2026 or 2027 if it was only about technical aspects of the talks, but the decisions are made by 27 member states of the European bloc over every single step in the process of negotiations until membership, the new European Commissioner in charge of enlargement of the EU, Marta Kos, recalled the decision-making rules of the bloc.
