Podgorica, 21 May 2025, dtt-net.com – 19 years ago an independence referendum was held in Montenegro to quit the state union with Serbia, of what was left from the former Yugoslavia dissolution in the ‘90s, with the country becoming member of the NATO in 2017 and now being the frontrunner of the Western Balkans region for membership in the European Union.
