Podgorica, 28 August 2026, dtt-net.com – The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, has called for an urgent meeting for Monday (August 31) of country’s Defence and Security Council, after yesterday warning by the head of government, Milojko Spajic, that “at least two countries” from the region are aiming to destabilize the country with the final goal of prevent the country become full-fledged member of the European Union as authorities hope to conclude negotiation talks this year and join European bloc in 2028.
