Podgorica/Brussels, 15 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Montenegro will close Tuesday (December 16) five negotiating chapters of cluster 5 in EU accession talks, Montenegro’s President announced, after phone discussions with his French counterpart after initial objections by Paris authorities over two chapters.
“Over the past two days, I had a friendly and constructive exchange with @EmmanuelMacron, following which Montenegro will close all five chapters at the next Intergovernmental Conference,” President Jakov Milatovic said through X after discussions with Emmanuel Macron.
