Montenegro to purchase military armament from Germany

Berlin/Podgorica, 12 June 2026, dtt-net.com – Montenegro and Germany today signed a what is called “government-to-government” (G2G) agreement, with the Western Balkans country planning to purchase weaponry from the German defence industry, as part of help between NATO members countries to strengthen their defence capabilities following Russian military aggression against Ukraine since 2022 and ongoing. The agreement was signed between Montenegrin Defence Minister Dragan Krapović and his German counterpart Boris Pistorius in Berlin.
