Prishtina, 04 August 2026, dtt-net.com – The three-hour meeting of today between the leaders of two Kosovo political parties for a compromise for formation of new institutions after June 7 early elections brough no breakthrough.
The meeting between the leader of the Vetevendosje (LVV) Albin Kurti and the leader of the opposition Democratic League (LDK) Lumir Abdixhiku was mainly about election of new President, as the LVV and its ally parties of minorities need support of another 16 lawmakers to ensure quorum of 80 lawmakers in the 120-seat Parliament for election of a new one.
