Skopje, 09 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Police of North Macedonia said it intercepted today another 4 illegal migrants attempted to be smuggled through the country by a local national.
“On 09.02.2026 at 04:15 on the ‘Prijatelstvo’ highway, in the direction from Skopje to Kumanovo, police officers from the Sopot Border Surveillance Police Station deprived N.S. (40) from Kumanovo of his liberty. While performing a motorcycle patrol, the police officers stopped a passenger vehicle ‘Fiat Bravo’ with Kumanovo license plates, which he was driving, and upon inspection of the vehicle, it was determined that it was transporting 4 migrants, two from Nepal and one each from India and Pakistan,” police said in a press release.
