North Macedonia ruling parties win most of mayoral posts in municipal elections

Skopje, 03 November 2025, dtt-net.com – North Macedonia ruling parties won 66 mayoral posts in total 81 municipalities, including the capital town, after two-round municipal elections. According to the results from central election body after the runoff vote of yesterday (November 2) the conservative Macedonian VMRO-DPMNE got 54 mayoral seats, including in Skopje, in yet another confirmation of strong support by citizens a year and a half after parliamentary elections, according to the results from central election body.
