Skopje, 13 September 2024, dtt-net.com – A draft-law proposed by the opposition for additional social allowances for former state security force members of North Macedonia, known as “law on defenders” of the 2001 conflict, is deeply dividing Macedonian and Albanian parties, after being included in parliamentary urgent procedure for approval but blocked by Albanian ruling and opposition lawmakers, who seek inclusion of Albanian former guerilla members in the text for equal treatment.
