Sarajevo, 09 July 2026, dtt-net.com – Remains of ten Bosniak victims will be buried on July 11 at the Srebrenica-Potocari memorial centre on the 31st anniversary of the Genocide, when more than 8000 Bosniak boys and men were slaughtered by Serb forces.
A convoy of people with coffins of the ten victims of the Srebrenica Genocide departed today morning from Visoko, through Ilias, Vogosća, and capital Sarajevo to continue the road to the Srebrenika Memorial Center, where on July 11 commemoration, funeral and burial of remains to be held, as every year.
Every year since 1995, remains of victims found in different locations in the Srebrenica surroundings are exhumed and buried in Potoçari memorial centre.
31 years ago, Serb entity forces massacred 8372 Bosniak civilians in Srebrenica area.
The number of found victims – in different mass graves in and around Srebrenica area – and buried in Potočari is nearly 7000 so far.
