02 May 2025, dtt-net.com – Electricity generation from renewable sources and nuclear represented 40.9 % of global electricity produced in 2024 for the first time since the 1940s, with the solar being the fastest growing source of electricity (+29%) for the 20th year in a row with most of it in China, according to a report by the London-based energy think tank Ember.
