Belgrade, 25 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Russian-owned oil company in Serbia, NIS, said it has made a request to the government of Donald Trump for postponement of implementation of sanctions beyond August 27.
Sanctions on NIS are part of sanctions imposed by Biden’s government in January, on Russian oil company Gazpromneft, which together with its parent company Gazprom hold majority of shares in the Serbia-based company.
