Belgrade, 21 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Russian-owned oil company in Serbia, NIS, said it has made a request to the government of Donald Trump for postponement of implementation of sanctions beyond September 26.
Sanctions on NIS are part of sanctions imposed by Biden’s government in January, on Russian oil company Gazpromneft, which together with its parent company Gazprom held until last week majority of shares in the Serbia-based company.
Gazprom last week transferred its 10% of shares to Russian Intelligence company, while the first still keeps previous shares.
