Belgrade, 30 May 2025, dtt-net.com – The High Court in Serbia’s norther town of Novi Sad ruled a 30-day detention extension on five people and house arrest for up to three months on another four, all charged by the prosecution in relation to the tragic accident of November 1, when a train station canopy collapsed killing sixteen people, including a student, and which triggered ongoing widespread protests across the country by students seeking accountability from authorities controlled by the authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic.
