Belgrade, 14 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Police of Serbia said it arrested 3 Afghan nationals suspected of migrants smuggling after authorities found 9 illegal migrants in northern town of Subotica near Hungarian border.
“Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Subotica, in cooperation with members of the Regional Border Police Center, arrested Z.B. (2001), A.A. (1998) and K.H. (2001), citizens of Afghanistan, on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized crossing of the state border and human smuggling,” police said in a press release.
