Belgrade, 01 June 2025, dtt-net.com – Dozens of thousands of Serbia students held rallies and blockades of roads and bridges today in more than 30 towns, with the central one held in the capital Belgrade, stepping up calls to the authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic and the ruling Progressive Party (SNS) which he controls to call early parliamentary elections, and warning that if their request is not met they will switch to “civil disobedience” across the country from the ongoing daily widespread protests since November 1, following the train station tragic accident in northern town of Novi Sad.
