Belgrade, 23 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Serbia and Russia will next month sign a new 3-year deal for gas supplies to the EU candidate country from Western Balkans region, of up to 9,5 million cubic meters daily (3,46 bcm per year), according to Serbian representatives.
The Director of ‘Srbijagas’ company, Dušan Bajatović, told public broadcaster RTS today that negotiations with Russian ‘Gazprom’ will be concluded next week and the deal will be signed in October, while at the same time the country has also reached a deal for purchase 2,5 million cubic metres daily (0,91 bcm per year) with Azerbaijan.
