Slovenia bans former President of Serb entity in Bosnia

Sarajevo/Ljubljana, 11 September 2025, dtt-net.com – The government of Slovenia today decided to ban entrance in Slovenia to the former President of Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), thus becoming the fifth country of the EU to do so.

“The Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted a decision at today’s session to ban Milorad Dodik from entering the Republic of Slovenia. The decision comes into effect today,” Slovenian government announced the ban on the pro-Russia leader, who is sentenced by BiH court to six-year ban on holding entity’s top post.
