Tirana, 26 September 2024, dtt-net.com – Appellate court in Albania today upheld a one-year prison sentence to an opposition member of the parliament on “fake denunciation” charges, a verdict contested by the opposition as “political act” sponsored by the head of the government Edi Rama, and which is expected to further fuel ongoing tensions between the two sides ahead of next year elections.
