Belgrade/Brussels, 28 June 2024, dtt-net.com – Citing environmental concerns, thousands attended today a protest in Serbia’s western municipality Loznica called by green organizations and inhabitants against plans of the government to revive massive lithium mining project in the area, as Serbia’s leadership is pushing for the project to happen and the EU being keen to sign a Strategic Partnership with the country “relatively soon” for the raw material much needed in European electric automotive industry.
