Trump reiterates interest of USA companies to invest in Montenegro, including in energy

Podgorica, 13 July 2026, dtt-net.com – In a congratulation letter to his Montenegrin counterpart on the occasion of 20-year renewed statehood of the Western Balkans country, the President of the USA, Donald Trump, reiterated interest of American companies to invest in the EU candidate country, in several sectors, including in energy. According to a press release from the office of Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, Trump said in the letter that he expects the partnership between Montenegro and the USA to “further expand in the years to come.”
