London, 23 July 2025, dtt-net.com – British government today announced sanctions on a list of people and gangs involved in human smuggling to the UK territory, including people from Western Balkans and gangs based in the region.
Asset freeze and travel ban are announced on smugglers from the region living in EU territory and gangs active and their enablers in the illegal activity based in the region, a first ever move by the British government in global crackdown against smuggling of illegal migrants to the country.
