Prishtina, 24 January 2023, dtt-net.com – Counsellor of USA Department of State, Derek Chollet, talked today with Kosovan premier, Albin Kurti, asking him to accept a EU proposal for a deal with Serbia – which doesn’t include mutual recognition as initially sought by Washington – and at the same time grant more special powers to Serb-predominantly ten municipalities, which the second fears it would transform Kosovo into Bosnia power sharing model on ethnic lines but which the USA denies.
