Belgrade, 01 October 2025, dtt-net.com – The USA government decided to postpone implementation on sanctions on Russia-owned oil company in Serbia, NIS, until October 8, the company announced today, over sanctions decided by Joe Biden’s government in January.
“On 30 September, the US Treasury Department issued a new special license that postponed the entry of full sanctions against NIS into force, and allowed the company to continue its operating activities until 8 October 2025 at the latest,” NIS said in a press release.
