Sarajevo, 18 May 2026, dtt-net.com – Border police of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) it intercepted two days ago a total of 14 illegal migrants attempted to be smuggled by two local nationals to Croatia, on their way to further EU north.
“Members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Border Police Unit Gorica prevented the smuggling of 14 foreign citizens on May 16, 2026. They were eight citizens of the People's Republic of China, five citizens of the Republic of Turkey, and one person without identification documents, who stated that he came from Syria,” police said.
