Belgrade, 03 May 2023, dtt-net.com – Eight pupils and a security employee were killed this morning and seven others are wounded after a gun shooting by a juvenile in a school in Vracar municipality of capital Belgrade this morning, Serbian authorities said.
The interior ministry said that the suspect, a student of seventh grade “fired several shots from his father’s gun in the direction of the students and security” employees at the “Vladislav Ribnakar elementary school.
According to the interior ministry six children and one school teacher were wounded and are currently being treated in hospital.
“Treatment of the injured is ongoing, as is the work of the police to establish all the facts and circumstances related to this event,” the ministry said.
