Sarajevo, 18 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The President of Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) threatened again with independence declaration of the entity if the western-backed envoy would impose any law over immovable property in entities.
“If Christian Schmidt interferes with property, (Republic of) Srpska will immediately make a decision on independence,” Dodik said through X post, in a follow up reaction to yesterday’s Schmidt’s decision that both entities should pay their shares of debt to a Slovenian company over road toll revenues, and that part of country’s central election commission needs for 2026 municipal elections should be paid by BiH central bank profits, as none of these two are foreseen in the proposed and not yet adopted 2025 budget.
