Podgorica, 31 July 2025, dtt-net.com – Governing parties in Montenegro today decided to withdraw proposed changes to the law on public gatherings, amid heavy criticism in the country and European human rights defenders.
Country’s President, Jakov Milatovic, who has also addressed strong criticism to the proposal which would have introduced strict bans on protests in public areas, welcomed the withdrawal.
