Sarajevo, 06 August 2025, dtt-net.com – An advisor of the President of Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Milorad Dodik, today publicly threatened the western-backed envoy Christian Schmidt with assassination, saying that in the ongoing situation in the country, the what he called “Gavrilo’s principle” on the “foreign usurper” should apply, referring to the Gavrilo Princip, the Bosnian Serb who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austro-Hungarian Empire in June 1914.
“All those in Bosnia and Herzegovina who nitpick and find fault with every policy of the Republic of Srpska should know that the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is not normal, and in such a Bosnia and Herzegovina, only one principle applies – Gavrilo’s principle. A principle in which the only thing that matters is to defeat and overcome the foreign usurper,” Dodik’s advisor Ognjen Tadić said through X.
