Serbia opposition party calls for referendum over former army HQ and planned hotel of Trump’s son-in-law

Belgrade, 20 November 2025, dtt-net.com – An opposition party in Serbia today called other opposition parties and students to mobilize and push authorities to a referendum over the future of the former army’s headquarters damaged by NATO airstrikes and plans of the government to rent the area to Trump’s son-in-law for construction of a luxury hotel. The Ecological Uprising today in a press conference said that citizens of the capital Belgrade should be the ones to decide over the area and not the government.
