Serbia to turn to others for gas supply if no long-term deal with Russia, according to President

Belgrade, 02 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Serbian President said today that if there is no deal with Russia for long-term gas supply to the country then authorities will turn to other countries to ensure gas supplies. "If we don't get a contract from Russia by Friday, we will start negotiations on Monday and procure gas from the other side. We have secured the money, and we will resolve it," Aleksandar Vucic told reporters today in a press conference, as Russia is refusing to sign a new 3-year deal of gas supply to Serbia and has offered only a temporary one until end of this month.
