Serbia minister and 3 others indicted of forgery to pave the way for Trump’s son-in-law hotel project

Belgrade, 15 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Serbia’s prosecution said today it filed indictments against the Minister of Culture and three others, on charges of forging documentation for removing the building of former army’s headquarters from cultural heritage list to pave the way for hotel project by Donald Trump’s son-in-law. The public Prosecutor’s office for organized crime said it indicted Nikola Selakovic, the Secretary of the Ministry of Culture Slavica Jelača, the Acting Director of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments Goran Vasić and the Acting Director of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the City of Belgrade Aleksandar Ivanović are  indicted “in connection with the illegalities in the removal of the status of cultural property from the buildings of the ‘General Staff’.”
