Russia-friendly presidents of Serbia and Georgia meet to strengthen ties as EU pathways stalled

Belgrade, 18 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia and Mikheil Kavelashvili of Georgia met today in Serbian capital of Belgrade, vowing to boost economic and political relations between the two countries, while EU pathways of both countries are stalled for the time being. Vucic announced that Serbia will open embassy in Tbilisi, and the two countries will set up a joint committee for negotiations on trade agreement expected to be reached by the end of next year.
