Podgorica, 01 February 2026, dtt-net.com – A Serb party in Montenegro left the governing coalition of the Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, after the government did not support its demands for constitutional changes including of making Serb language official and changes to citizenship law.
The leader of the Democratic People’s Party (DNP) leader Milan Knezevic announced Friday in a press conference that the party is leaving the government amid disagreements, which also include party calls for making the old Serbia civil flag (red-blue-white) official in Montenegro and plans of government for construction of a wastewater management plant on Zeta municipality.
